What should you communicate with a member in the U.S. House of Representatives or U.S. Senate?
When communicating with your representatives, try to give them solid facts and figures.
- Tell them about your business, what you build, and who buys your product.
- Tell them the number of people you employ, your average payroll, and the kinds of benefits you provide your employees.
- Tell them your annual sales, the products and supplies you buy, and how much you pay in taxes.
- Tell them about the paperwork and cost burdens imposed by federal, state, and local governments.
