Side Impact Protection*
This Standard applies to MPVs, trucks and buses with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. (4,536 kg) or less. It does not apply to walk-in vans. It specifies crush resistance requirements based on deflections of the side doors under specified loading conditions.
*This Standard specifies barrier testing.
