Windshield Mounting*
This Standard applies to MPVs, trucks and buses with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. (4,536 kg) or less. It does not apply to forward control vehicles, or walk-in van-type vehicles with fold-down or removable windshields. It establishes windshield retention requirements for motor vehicles during crashes.
*This Standard specifies barrier testing.
