Vehicle type on a certification label

Members often have questions on completing the VEHICLE TYPE section of a final-stage certification label. Van body, dump truck, flatbed and service body are common entries. However, while these examples describe work truck industry vehicles, they are not correct designations based on National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rules.
