Requirements for lockout/tagout

​​​​​​​An area of Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements that should be routinely reviewed by work truck upfitters is found in Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 1910.147 – The control of hazardous energy (lockout/tagout). A parallel requirement in Canada is CSA Z460-20 “Control of Hazardous Energy – Lockout and Other Methods.”
