Vehicle overloading a potential safety issue

We are an upfitter, and one of our fleet customers asked us to mount a large body and tank on a chassis they purchased. We are not comfortable with this combination and feel that the tank size is too large for the GVWR of the chassis. As the final-stage manufacturer, should we be worried?
