A customer who traditionally used a Class 3 truck — 10,001 to 14,000-pound GVWR — is now interested in a vehicle with a GVWR less than 10,000 pounds, while still carrying the same payload used in the Class 3 truck. As an upfitter, what do we need to consider in order to properly build and certify this vehicle?
