Adding a center high-mounted stop lamp

We are a truck equipment distributor, and were asked to add a center high-mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) to a customer’s truck. The only available option is to combine it with the center light in the rear identification lamp group. Can we incorporate a CHMSL with rear identification lamps?
