INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 12, 2026) — Today during Work Truck Week® 2026, Rick Albertini, president & CEO of Phenix Truck & Van (Pomona, California), was installed as 62nd Board chairman of NTEA – The Work Truck Association. He accepted the position from immediate past Board chairman Ben Winter, vice chairman/business development at Transfer Flow (Chico, California).
“I am thrilled to continue serving the commercial vehicle community as NTEA Board chairman and am looking forward to working alongside this year’s Board members,” Albertini said.
Since 1978, Phenix has provided vocational work truck and van solutions to fleets, enabling them to comply with evolving regulations. What began as a small, family-owned business with less than 10 employees has grown into a company employing over 200 people.
Rick graduated from Long Beach State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Since then, he has spent 40 years at Phenix Truck & Van delivering real-world solutions to working fleets. Their team of expert fleet upfitters work to innovate, adopt new technologies, and modernize their operations.
Serving on the NTEA Board has allowed Rick to further contribute to the development of the work truck industry and work more closely with the community. Since becoming a Board member, he has been involved with the following committees:
