Pro-Vision announced the fourth quarter 2026 release of a new AI-equipped camera and inline processing module for commercial fleets, designed to enhance safety during critical lane-change, merging and reversing maneuvers.
Built-in AI Detections for New Camera Applications
Powered by an onboard edge processor, the AI-equipped camera uses advanced computer vision to detect pedestrians and vehicles in real time. When a potential hazard is detected, audible and visual alerts appear directly on the monitor alongside the live camera view, improving driver awareness and enabling a quick response.
The camera maintains the same 1080p resolution, AHD format and low-light performance as Pro-Vision’s existing camera lineup, allowing fleets to add AI without compromising image quality or system compatibility.
Inline AI Detection for Existing Cameras
The Inline AI Processing Module extends the same edge-processing technology to an inline device, providing real-time detections and alerting for any vehicle camera. Each unit provides detection capabilities for up to two existing non-AI cameras, including already-installed Pro-Vision cameras.

Configurable detection zones allow fleets to adjust alert distances based on vehicle type, operating environment, or application needs.
“Together with our existing Birdseye 360° AI technology, the new camera and processing module broaden our company’s AI-powered safety offering for commercial fleets,” said Michael Finn, president and CEO at Pro-Vision. “The expanded portfolio gives fleets more ways to add intelligent detection and alerting solutions across a wide range of vehicle types and camera locations, all while maintaining the reliability and system compatibility fleets expect from Pro-Vision.”
