Miller Electric Mfg. LLC announced preorders are now available for the HDI™ 265 and 325 Air Pak™, with shipping beginning in mid-Q2 2025. As the newest addition to the Miller work truck solutions portfolio, the HDI Air Pak series is the company’s first hydraulically driven all-in-one unit engineered for the work truck industry. Eliminate the need for a standalone rotary-screw compressor and engine-driven welder on your work truck and maximize your efficiency and avoid the need for extra trips. The HDI Air Pak maximizes truck space and increases payload capacity, saving up to 400 pounds and reducing the equipment footprint by up to 54% compared to using an engine-driven welder and a separate compressor. Additionally, each HDI Air Pak model is integrated into the truck chassis and features industry-leading advantages, including:
- Onboard compressed air: The HDI Air Pak rotary-screw compressor produces 40 or 60 cfm of air at 100% duty cycle.
- Battery charge/crank assist: Produces up to 150 amps of DC current to quickly charge 12- and 24-volt batteries. Operators can crank assist weak batteries with up to 300 amps of power.
- Auxiliary power: A 7,000-watt generator that can handle jobsite electrical needs to power tools, lights and more.
- Integrated multiprocess welding: Technicians are prepared for any welding job they encounter in the field with 265 or 325 amps of output at 100% duty cycle and industry-leading weld quality, including:
