Specialized diesel refueler trucks featuring equipment manufactured by Klein Products were recently showcased during the inauguration ceremony for Egypt’s new State Strategic Command Headquarters in the country’s New Administrative Capital.
The KF-350 Diesel Fuel Tank units were produced by Klein Products as part of its longstanding relationship with ND Defense and represent a highly specialized side of Klein’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
While Klein is widely known for water distribution equipment serving the construction, mining, municipal and heavy-equipment industries, the company’s capabilities extend well beyond its standard product lines.
For decades, Klein has worked alongside truck manufacturers, equipment partners, government customers and other specialized organizations to develop equipment for unique and demanding applications. These projects often require Klein’s engineering and
manufacturing teams to solve challenges that cannot be addressed with an off-the-shelf product.
“Seeing equipment that our team helped create showcased halfway around the world is something everyone at Klein can take pride in,” said Barry McManus, President of Klein Products. “But what makes this particularly meaningful is what it represents. The KF-350 Diesel Fuel Tank project is one example of that capability. The units’ appearance at the international ceremony provides a rare opportunity to see specialized equipment produced by Klein represented far from the facilities where it was engineered and manufactured.
