Braun Ambulances will feature a custom Express Plus Type I built for Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) at EMS World Expo 2026, exhibiting September 30 through October 2 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Displayed in Booth #1601 with support from Braun dealer partner MacQueen, the ambulance is one of six new units ordered by MEMS for its Little Rock, Arkansas, fleet.
Built around the Express Plus platform, the featured ambulance demonstrates how Braun combines a compact, versatile footprint with the customization EMS providers need. Its 150-inch module and 72 inches of headroom provide a spacious patient-care environment within a versatile Type I configuration.

Designed around the MEMS crew’s daily workflow, the Express Plus combines Braun’s arched roof and custom interior layout with features that support efficient patient care and equipment access. The unit includes an EZ Glide™ sliding door, Stryker Power-LOAD system, EZ-O2 Lift, patient-monitoring camera, and a premium HVAC package. LiquidSpring® suspension supports ride quality, while four-point single-click seatbelts, Whelen LED lighting, a Howler siren, and Buell air horns support crew protection, visibility and
warning performance.
Like every Braun ambulance, MEMS’s unit is built with SolidBody™ Construction, a process that forms the module from a single piece of aluminum for strength, structural integrity, and dependable protection. It is also remountable and backed by Braun's transferable Lifetime Structural Warranty, extending the ambulance’s value well beyond its first chassis.
