American Power Systems Inc. (APS) marked its 20th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting coordinated by the Quad Cities Chamber at its headquarters on April 8, 2026.
Founded in April 2006 by Thomas Evans, APS designs and produces high-output alternators, custom alternator brackets and dual alternator bracket kits, DC-DC converters, high-idle controllers, and related solutions engineered for demanding environments, helping customers maintain dependable electrical power at idle and under load.
“Congratulations to American Power Systems on your 20 years,” said Davenport Mayor Jason Gordon during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. “We’re very excited for your success; we appreciate what you do for job creation and for economic vitality in the city of Davenport.”
