The Generation Next Steering Committee is inviting engaged professionals to help shape the future of leadership in the work truck industry. In this article, Chris Prenkert, MBA—Generation Next Division At-Large member and VP of Operations at Holman—shares insight into the Committee’s role and the value of serving. The Steering Committee supports key initiatives such as member recruitment and retention, professional development programming, and speaker selection for Generation Next events at Work Truck Week. Serving on the Committee offers a meaningful opportunity to build leadership skills, expand industry connections, and collaborate with peers who are passionate about advancing the industry. Members serve three-year terms with a mix of virtual and in-person meetings. The call for nominations will open in January 2026, and eligible candidates must belong to Generation Next and be employed by an NTEA member company in good standing.
