Using a resale exemption certificate

We are considering purchasing a new, taxable truck from the manufacturer, but are not certain whether we will use it in our business or re-sell it. If there is a possibility that we will re-sell it, are we required to provide the manufacturer with a resale exemption certificate with respect to Section 4051 tax?
