Rick Albertini
NTEA Board Chairman
President & CEO
Phenix Truck & Van (Pomona, California)
Rick Albertini, president & CEO of Phenix Truck & Van (Pomona, California), was installed as the 62nd Board chairman of NTEA at the Association’s Annual Meeting on March 12. He accepted the position from immediate past Board chairman Ben Winter, vice chairman/business development of Transfer Flow (Chico, California).
As president & CEO of Phenix Truck & Van, I am proud to work with our team of senior leaders including General Manager Kevin Townsend, Production Manager Adrian Zetina, and EVP Todd Davis to lead a dynamic company of dedicated professionals. Since 1978, Phenix has provided vocational work truck and van solutions to fleets, enabling them to comply with evolving regulations. What began as a small, family-owned business with less than 10 employees has grown into a company employing over 200 people.
I graduated from Long Beach State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Since then, I have spent 40 years at Phenix Truck & Van delivering real-world solutions to working fleets. Our teams of expert fleet upfitters work to innovate, adopt new technologies, and modernize our operations.
Serving on the NTEA Board has allowed me to further contribute to the development of the work truck industry and work more closely with our community. Since becoming a Board member, I’ve been involved with the following committees:
- Board Development & Recruitment Committee (Chairman)
- Business Development Committee
- Education Committee
- Executive Committee
- Finance & Investment Committee (Chairman)
- Government Relations Committee
- NTEA Facilities Working Group
- Program & Services Working Group (Chairman)
- Services Committee
I am thrilled to continue serving the commercial vehicle community as NTEA Board chairman and am looking forward to working alongside this year’s Board members. However, I would also like to acknowledge those who have previously served on the Board, and want to give special recognition to the Board and Committee/Working Group members retiring as of March 2026. Thank you for all that you’ve contributed to the Association.
