Horizon Motor expanded its federally-compliant product lineup with new EPA certifications for its 2026 Class 3, 4, 5, and Class 8 vocational battery-electric trucks. These approvals build on the company's previously certified Class 6–7 platforms, establishing Horizon Motor as one of the few manufacturers with EPA-approved zero-emission vehicles spanning Class 3 through Class 8 commercial applications.
“Commercial fleets need electric trucks that are certified, road-ready, and built for real work—not prototypes or promises,” said Sean Jones, CEO of Horizon Motor. “These certifications mean our trucks can be spec’d, financed, and put into service today with the same regulatory confidence as any traditional diesel truck. That’s the baseline for serious fleet adoption.”
The certifications enable fleet buyers to access federal and state incentive programs, including the EPA Clean Ports Initiative and various state voucher programs.
Horizon Motor will showcase certified demonstration vehicles at upcoming industry trade shows. Demo units are currently available for evaluation in New Jersey and California.
