New Board members include Derek Hill of Fallsway Equipment Co. (Akron, Ohio); Anne T. Sutton, MBA of Curry Supply Co. (Martinsburg, Pennsylvania); and Sean Woodman of Muncie Power Products (Muncie, Indiana).
Derek Hill joined Fallsway Equipment in 2016, starting in business development before moving to truck equipment sales in 2019. Previously, he worked in inventory and asset protection for Best Buy. He earned a bachelor’s in business administration from University of Akron (Akron, Ohio) in 2015. Derek has worked with Akron Green & Clean program, volunteers for Meals on Wheels and helps the homeless through St. Bernard Catholic Church. Derek feels Generation Next can bring together individuals who are passionate about the industry and assist in furthering their professional growth and development.
Before Anne Sutton joined Curry Supply less than one year ago, she spent 15 years working in marketing at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In search of a new challenge in a new location, she joined Curry and was introduced to the work truck industry. Anne received a bachelor's in public relations with a minor in business in 2005 from The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, Pennsylvania) and earned an MBA from Saint Francis University (Loretto, Pennsylvania).She believes serving on Generation Next’s Board will provide the chance to build relationships with industry professionals and boost her commercial vehicle market knowledge. Going forward, she envisions Generation Next sharing knowledge gained during the pandemic and embracing virtual opportunities to network and grow.
Sean Woodman has served as field sales manager for Muncie Power Products for just over one year, but has been with the company for 14 years. His previous positions included bench assembler and assistant distribution manager. He earned a bachelor’s in business from University of Phoenix (Tempe, Arizona) as well as a general management certificate in 2019. He volunteers as a swim teacher for children with autism, and as a youth soccer coach at the local YMCA. Sean joined the Board of Governors to learn more about the industry, sharpen his leadership skills, and serve as a voice for others in the early stages of their careers. He sees Generation Next as paving the way for the development of new professionals, regardless of time spent in the industry.
