NTEA welcomed three newly-elected members to its 2023–2024 Board of Directors. The Association is governed by its Bylaws under the leadership of this member-elected Board. Each Director completes a three-year term.

Marc Ellison
Director
InterMotive Vehicle Controls
Auburn, California
NTEA member since 2004

Marc has a broad range of industry experience, including 17 years at Ford Motor Company, where he held a variety of roles from working with Ford dealers and fleets to marketing office positions. During his past 19 years at InterMotive, he has held both sales and operational positions that were key drivers in significant growth — not only in revenue, but also expansion into new markets and a larger, more diverse customer base.

He has a bachelor’s in business from the University of Kansas, and earned a Six Sigma Blackbelt while at Ford Motor Company. Marc is past president of his homeowner’s association, is involved with Habitat for Humanity and serves as a classroom volunteer in his local school district.

Marc has been an active NTEA member since InterMotive joined in 2004. In addition, the company is a member of several NTEA affiliate divisions, including Ambulance Manufacturers Division, Mid-Size Bus Manufacturers Association and Green Truck Association.

Brian Tabel
Executive Director of Marketing
Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc.
Anaheim, California
NTEA member since 1994

Brian entered the car and truck business at a young age in his brother-in-law’s Ford dealership washing cars, and as he got older, working in parts and service and then vehicle sales. He has garnered a broad range of automotive industry experience during his career.

At Ford, he worked in incentive auditing, where he learned how salespeople structure deals. After Ford, he joined Isuzu SUV group as a district service and parts manager and later became district sales manager. He was then asked to move to the Isuzu Truck group, which had just formed General Motors Isuzu Commercial Truck, as a district service and parts manager. Subsequently, he took on the role of Midwest district sales manager and then moved from Chicago to Southern California as a retail marketing manager for Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc. He was later promoted to director of marketing, and now serves as executive director of marketing. He recently celebrated 28 years in total with Isuzu.

Brian earned a degree in automotive marketing and business management from Northwood University (Midland, Michigan). He is involved with Pacific Marine Mammal Institute, Orange County Softball Board and American Truck Dealers NexGen.
