Senate approves USMCA legislation

NTEA commends the U.S. Senate for overwhelmingly approving the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) by a vote of 89–10. With the President’s forthcoming signature and Canada’s expected ratification, the relationship between the three strong trading partners will be further solidified and trilateral regulatory cooperation increased. USMCA will also be instrumental in promoting stability in the North American economy and the work truck industry, which relies on free and open borders to facilitate legitimate movement of goods, services and labor.
