Child Restraint Anchorage Systems
This Standard applies to trucks and MPVs with a GVWR of 8,500 lbs. (3,859 kg)
or less (except walk-in vans, shuttle buses and vehicles manufactured to be sold
exclusively to the U.S. Postal Service) and
to buses (including school buses)
with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. (4,536 kg) or less. It establishes child restraint
anchorage requirements for proper location and strength.
