EAVX appoints Jacob Larimore as chief operating officer

EAVX, a business unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co. (JBPCO), announced Jacob Larimore was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing all operations and leading the company’s continued focus on innovation in advanced vehicle solutions.

Larimore has been with EAVX for nearly four years, playing a pivotal role in shaping the division’s strategic direction and advancing next-generation mobility solutions. With a strong background in engineering, innovation, and product strategy, Jacob has led key initiatives that drive the company’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into commercial vehicles.

Prior to joining EAVX, Jacob held roles at Caterpillar, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and Robert Bosch – North America. At Bosch, he served as Customer Chief Engineer of Powertrain, where he was responsible for the technical strategy of one of the world’s largest automotive accounts. Jacob holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in controls and mechatronic systems.
