Vehicle certification is more than just sticking labels on trucks. Proper vehicle certification is required by law and helps to assure the purchaser of a safe and reliable vehicle. In this three-part webinar series, you will learn how to determine which label is required for the different stages of certification and how to properly complete each label. Additional topics include the critical elements of certification: payload analysis, weight distribution, and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) compliance analysis.
Part 2 will focus on final-stage manufacturer certification and labeling requirements. Final-stage manufacturers are those who complete incomplete vehicles and are required to represent FMVSS compliance of the vehicles they build. This session will focus on compliance considerations for common manufacturing operations of final stage manufacturers, along with the associated labeling requirements.
