Efficiency has always been an important aspect of vehicle design and is even more so today as gas prices continue to rise while emissions regulations grow more stringent. As most work truck industry professionals know, vehicle efficiency can affect a company’s bottom line. During this session, attendees will hear an update on the U.S. Department of Energy’s SuperTruck Program, which focuses on designing trucks that will increase efficiency and reduce emissions, and gain more information on its relevance to work trucks.
