Buyers Products Announces New V-Plow for ¾-Ton Pickup Trucks
Buyers Products, a leading manufacturer of work truck equipment, announces the release of a V-plow specifically designed for use with most ¾-ton pickup trucks. The SnowDogg® VMXII snow plow has been structurally optimized to weigh less than 550 pounds, which allows the plow to be mounted on lighter trucks like the Ford® F-150s, Chevrolet® Silverado 1500s and RAM® 1500s.
The SnowDogg VMXII is an extension of SnowDogg’s rapidly growing V-plow line, which also includes the VXFII for one-ton-plus pickup trucks, and VXXII for Class 4-6 trucks. The design reflects years of rigorous testing that ensures the plow exudes the strength needed to stand up to seasons of use in harsh environments.
“Our state-of-the art manufacturing and engineering facility is the perfect place to design and build such a weight-optimized V-plow,” says Mike Miller, Director of Engineering at Buyers Products. “Third-party Finite Element Analysis (FEA) testing, user feedback, and countless hours of test-lab data empower us to put out a V-plow that we’re confident in, and know users will love.”
The VMXII is designed to move heavy, wet snow. The plow features a genuine, 304 stainless-steel blade with aggressive, flared wings and a robust frame built to absorb heavy impacts. The VMXII also incorporates popular SnowDogg features like an upgraded RapidLink™ Attachment System and Floating A-frame™.

Buyers Products Announces New Line of Camlock Truck Tool Boxes
Buyers Products, a leading manufacturer of work truck equipment, unveiled its new line of Camlock Underbody Truck Tool Boxes at the 2022 Work Truck Show. Buyers manufactures the aluminum boxes in its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Northeast Ohio.
The boxes are built with heavy-duty, 0.125-inch thick, smooth aluminum, and come equipped with either smooth aluminum or polished stainless-steel doors. A multi-position hasp allows the boxes to be installed on either the driver or passenger side of the trailer, which can help reduce upfitter inventory requirements.
“We decided to add the camlock option to our underbody line-up for applications that need that added layer of security,” says Jennifer Pusateri, Truck Tool Box product manager at Buyers Products. “Our aluminum barn door boxes serve a large portion of the Class 8 trailer market. This box adds another dependably delivered box option.”
Camlock boxes are currently in production and will be available in the second quarter of 2022.
Buyers Products Announces 10-1/2 Foot-V-plow for Class 4-6 Trucks
Buyers Products, a leading manufacturer of work truck equipment, announces the release of a 10-1/2 foot V-plow designed for very heavy-duty use. The new SnowDogg® VXXII plow mounts to Class 4-6 trucks, with wings that ascend from 35 inches in the middle to 45 inches on either end. The plow is the result of increasing market demand for such a large V-plow.
The SnowDogg VXXII went through over two years of rigorous testing and design, before being released. The SnowDogg team, including a host of engineers, product managers and manufacturing staff, worked directly with some of the country’s largest snow and ice contractors to refine every detail.
“It took us several tries to really nail the design,” says Scott Moorman, Director of Snow and Ice Equipment at Buyers Products. “Each iteration got closer and closer, but we weren’t going to settle for anything less than perfection. The feedback from the field testers was an integral, invaluable piece of this process. Afterall,who knows what a plow needs better than the people out there using it every day?”
