WorkTruckCert – An NTEA & Dec-O-Art Resource is a cloud-based program designed to streamline the completion and printing of certification labels. This powerful system archives vehicle records and helps companies document conformance with NHTSA-required safety standards.
The following WorkTruckCert upgrade is now available to program subscribers.
WorkTruckCert improvement: Integration with IHS Markit data. Program subscribers now have free access to important market data indicators, including:
- Upon entering vehicle records into the program, VINs are cross-referenced against those in IHS Markit's registration database
- When any VINs match an IHS Markit listing, fleet information (showing the number of vehicles per GVWR in the fleet with the associated VIN) will be appended to your online record
- This provides considerable insight into market size relative to the vehicle type being modified
- Keep in mind, there is often a lag between when an upfitter modifies a vehicle and when that same vehicle data reaches IHS Markit's registration database, so not all VINs will result in fleet data at first pass
How to view fleet dashboard (once registered for WorkTruckCert)
- Enter a new vehicle record
- Complete the required fields
- Select Next
- Scroll to the bottom of the vehicle edit page and view the fleet information pane
OR
- Search for an existing VIN
- Scroll to the bottom of the vehicle edit page and view the fleet information pane
If there’s a match, fleet data will automatically be visible once updates are appended (updates are done monthly).
