FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (May 15, 2018) — NTEA is introducing an enhanced member benefit and business planning tool — Work Truck Industry Financial Benchmarking Survey. This research initiative gathers financial and operating ratio information from truck equipment manufacturers and distributors to produce the industry’s most comprehensive benchmarking study.

“The commercial vehicle industry is evolving at an ever-increasing rate,” said NTEA Executive Director Steve Carey. “We’re pleased to offer a comprehensive tool that provides manufacturers and distributors within our industry the insights they need to run their businesses more effectively.”

Contributing companies will receive a complimentary, personalized performance analysis report; access to an online financial analysis and planning tool; and a copy of the printed aggregated Work Truck Industry Financial Benchmarking Report. This year’s report has been expanded to include both manufacturer and distributor aggregated data and will provide industry companies with insights on how their organizations are performing against industry benchmarks. For a small investment of time, you will receive analysis of your company’s operating and performance metrics as compared to industry averages.

Profit Planning Group has again partnered with NTEA to conduct this research and to ensure all company data remains strictly confidential. Visit ntea.com/benchmarksurvey for details. If you have any questions, please contact Joy Knesnik, NTEA communications manager, at 248-479-8151 or joy@ntea.com.
