The Guide is your resource for labeling requirements, including instructions for label use, location and proper compliance; the Incomplete Vehicle Document; real-world, industry-specific examples; penalties; recall and remedy; early warning reporting; record retention; submission of manufacturing identification to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA); and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and compliance calculations. A full-color Federal Lighting Guide Wall Chart and important worksheets are included.

“We’re pleased to share the latest Commercial Vehicle Certification Guide with the work truck industry,” said NTEA Director of Technical Services Bob Raybuck. “This valuable resource helps final-stage manufacturers and alterers navigate the complexities of NHTSA vehicle certification requirements.”
