Senate introduces FET repeal bill

Published in the June 2018 issue of Washington Update

Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) introduced S. 3052 to repeal the federal excise tax (FET) on heavy trucks and trailers. The bill introduced June 12 is very similar to HR 2946 previously introduced by Representative Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) in the House which has currently 17 co-sponsors.
