NTEA-backed Vehicle Innovation Act re-Introduced in House

Published in the October 2017 issue of Washington Update

Representative Debbie Dingell (D-MI) reintroduced the Vehicle Innovation Act (HR 4050). This is companion legislation to S.1225 introduced by Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) earlier in the year.

This legislation, supported by NTEA, would provide approximately $1.7 billion over the next five years for research into advanced vehicle fuel efficiency technologies. Much of the funding would be directed at vocational trucks.
