NTEA is pleased to welcome one of North America’s most recognizable business leaders, Robert Herjavec, to Work Truck Week. His keynote address will take place the morning of Thursday, March 9, as part of the NTEA Annual Meeting (including breakfast).
Work Truck Week 2023 runs March 7–10 at Indiana Convention Center (Indianapolis, Indiana). Educational sessions and Green Truck Summit begin March 7, and the exhibit hall is open March 8–10. Registration opens in October at worktruckweek.com.
Herjavec is an entrepreneur and successful business leader. Born in Eastern Europe, he escaped communism in the former Yugoslavia and emigrated to Canada. From delivering newspapers and waiting tables to launching a computer company from his basement, his drive to achieve led him to create a better life for himself and his family. After building and selling several IT companies, he founded Herjavec Group in 2003, and it quickly became one of the world’s largest, privately held cybersecurity firms.
Herjavec shares his expertise with other entrepreneurs weekly as a leading Shark on ABC’s Emmy Award-winning hit show Shark Tank. On this long-running program, ambitious entrepreneurs pitch a panel of investors known as “Sharks” on investing in their companies. Herjavec also has written three best-selling books — Driven, The Will to Win, and You Don’t Have to Be a Shark: Creating Your Own Success.
“Robert Herjavec draws on his own rags-to-riches experience and substantial business success to inspire others to take risks, take control of their future and stay true to their visions,” said David Scheitlin, 2023 NTEA Convention chair, and director of operations at Holman. “Work Truck Week attendees are sure to be both entertained and inspired by his stories and insights.”
Herjavec’s keynote will be a moderated question-and-answer conversation that’s sure to cover business trends, entrepreneurship, and maybe even some behind-the-scenes anecdotes from Shark Tank.
Registration is required to attend NTEA’s Annual Meeting — sponsored by Ford Pro. Tickets will be available for purchase separately when registration opens in October. Learn more at worktruckweek.com or email email@example.com. You can join the conversation at worktruckweek.com/getsocial.
