InterMotive announces VP retirement and new director appointments


InterMotive Vehicle Controls (Auburn, California) announced 
Tracy Weatherfield retired after three years transforming InterMotive’s manufacturing infrastructure as VP of operations. With Weatherfield’s expertise, the production process was streamlined through the introduction of new technologies and department reorganization.

InterMotive also announces two new management promotions. James Paniagua has been appointed as Director of Operations. His promotion follows a 15-year career with InterMotive, previously as Program Manager. Paniagua’s new role includes directing all manufacturing operations.

Kara Johnson has been promoted to Director of Admin and Facilities. Johnson has worked for InterMotive for over 11 years in Human Resources and Finance. Her new responsibilities incorporates day-to-day facility operations.

Commenting on the management changes, President Greg Schafer said, “Tracy played a pivotal role in advancing InterMotive’s infrastructure. We are grateful for his hard work and wish him a long and happy retirement. James and Kara both bring solid practical experience to their new positions, and we look forward to their contributions in meeting our strategic goals.”
