An engine oil leak can create the risk of a fire.

FCA Canada will contact owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to update the engine calibration software.

Recall Details
Issue:

On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to appear on the display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear.
Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a trailer reverse steering module (TRSCM).

Safety Risk:
A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the trailer reverse steering module software.

Manufacturer Recall Number 21S26

Category Chassis Cab, Truck - Med. & H.D.

Recall Details
Issue:

On certain trucks, the front wheel hub extenders may not be properly tightened. As a result, the nuts could loosen and a wheel could separate from the vehicle.
Note: For F-350 models, this recall only affects trucks equipped with dual rear wheels and four-wheel drive.

Safety Risk:
A wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle.

Corrective Actions:
Ford will contact owners and instruct you not to drive your truck. They will provide you with instructions for how to check if the front wheel hub extender nuts are properly tightened. Ford will also give you the option to contact a dealer and arrange to either have the vehicle inspected at your location or have it towed to the dealership. The dealer will ensure that the wheel hub extender nuts are properly tightened.
