Tuesday, March 3, 1:15PM–2:15PM
Implementing a sustainable technology in a vocational fleet environment is often easier said than done. The fleet manager must carefully identify a potential application, evaluate all available technologies and make a selection. In many cases, this technology must be sold to the end user — at which point, the issue of funding must be addressed. Finally, the selected technology must be successfully integrated into the upfitted vehicle. During this session, two fleet managers who have implemented, or are in the process of implementing, sustainable technologies will share practical scenarios based on their experience. In addition, an upfitter representative will discuss integration issues that can occur during the upfitting process.
