The City of Columbus started its journey toward CNG conversion in 2009. Fast-forward to 2014 — the city has consumed nearly one million gallons of CNG, with 85 dedicated trucks and counting, two CNG stations with public access and counting, building modifications, tax credits and grants. During this presentation, the city’s fleet operations manager, along with its CNG consultant, will discuss lessons learned from building a sustainable CNG program and becoming one of the nation’s leading examples of public access retail fueling.
Presented by: Rob Adams, P.Eng., CPA, CMA, CMC, MBA, Principal, Marathon Corporation (Heidelberg, ON, Canada); and Bill Burns, Fleet Operations Manager, City of Columbus (Columbus, OH)
