1. What is the Green Truck Summit?
The Green Truck Summit is the work truck industry’s foremost educational conference on the latest green initiatives. The Summit is produced by the NTEA, The Association for the Work Truck Industry. The Green Truck Summit schedule includes sessions which provide overviews of hybrid and alternative fuel technologies, applications for commercial vehicles and results of real-world deployment in fleet operations. 2. When and where is the event?
The Green Truck Summit takes place at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, IN during the following days and hours:

Tuesday, March 4       8:00AM–6:15PM
Wednesday, March 5  8:00AM–10:45AM

The Summit is held annually in March, in conjunction with The Work Truck Show, North America’s largest work truck event.

3. Where is the Indiana Convention Center located?
The Indiana Convention Center is located at 100 South Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, IN, 46225, in the heart of downtown. Visit the Convention Center website for maps and interactive driving directions. The Convention Center is approximately 15 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport (IND), and is connected by skywalk to many hotels. 4. How do I register for the Summit?
Register online; download a registration form and fax it to (248) 489-8590; or call (800) 441-6832 for personal assistance.  Please note: The Green Truck Summit is held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show and your registration therefore needs to include trade show access or one of the Convention packages for The Work Truck Show.

5. How much does it cost to attend the Summit?
Prices for the Green Truck Summit range from $179–$319, with the lowest prices available to those who register early. Register online or call (800) 441-6832 to learn more.

6. Can I register on-site? If so, when?
Yes, you may also register for the Green Truck Summit on-site at the Indiana Convention Center at either of the two conveniently located Registration Areas.

On-site Registration hours are:
Monday, March 3        12:00PM–5:00PM
Tuesday, March 4        7:00AM–5:30PM
Wednesday, March 5   7:00AM–5:00PM
Additional on-site registration hours are available Thursday, March 6 and Friday, March 7 for The Work Truck Show.

7. I just registered! How do I know if it went through?
Whether you register through fax, mail, phone or web, you will receive a confirmation notice via email, fax or mail within one week, depending on the contact information you provided on the registration form. Your badge will be waiting for you on-site at the Registration Area. If you have any questions concerning your registration, please call (800) 441-6832 and ask for the registrar.

8. Can you recommend a place to stay?
The NTEA has arranged for discounted room blocks at several nearby Indianapolis hotels.  Make reservations online or call (317) 262-8191, Monday–Friday from 8:30AM–5:00PM (EST). Hotel confirmations are sent via email or fax within 24 hours.

9. Do I need a car? Is convenient parking available?
If you are flying into Indianapolis, a rental car is not necessary. The event and featured accommodations are conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Therefore, you will only require transportation to and from the airport. If you are driving to Indianapolis, abundant downtown parking options are available. If you are staying at a hotel in downtown Indianapolis during the show, you may make arrangements to use the hotel’s parking lots for your vehicles. Parking rates and availability vary based on vehicle size and lot location. Parking is also available at the Indianapolis Zoo, located near the Convention Center, at 1200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Shuttle buses will loop between the Convention Center and Zoo parking lot.

10. Will there be shuttles to/from my hotel and the Indiana Convention Center?
All NTEA-designated hotels offer discounted room rates for Work Truck Show attendees and are within walking distance of the Convention Center (many of the hotels are also connected to the Convention Center via skywalk). View a hotel map.

11. Are there other programs or opportunities which highlight green applications or technologies in this industry?
There are many activities and programs designed to address the growing interest in “going green.” The Green Truck Ride-and-Drive is a popular special event, accessible right from The Work Truck Show trade show floor. Also on the trade show floor is the "Productivity and Fuels Pavilion" with exhibits which directly address today’s growing interest and demand for clean alternative fuels and technologies.
