1. What is the Green Truck Summit?
Held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show, the Green Truck Summit is the work truck industry’s premier conference dedicated to advanced truck technologies and alternative fuels. This event features sessions led by technical experts, government officials, industry leaders and early-adopter fleet managers.

General sessions cover:

  • Alternative fuels technology outlook
  • CNG market expectations
  • Upcoming advancements for fleet operations
  • Telematics capabilities
  • Clean vehicle technology selection and implementation

New this year: In addition to attending March 1 general sessions, Green Truck Summit registrants will have the opportunity to choose from Green Truck Summit and Work Truck Show concurrent sessions.

2. When and where is the event?
The Green Truck Summit runs Tuesday, March 1 through Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. View the schedule.

3. Where is the Indiana Convention Center located?
The Indiana Convention Center is located at 100 South Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, IN, 46225, in the heart of downtown. Visit the Convention Center website for maps and interactive driving directions. The Convention Center is approximately 15 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport (IND), and is connected by skywalk to many hotels. 4. How do I register for the Green Truck Summit?

5. How much does it cost to attend the Summit?
Prices for the Green Truck Summit range from $349–$799, with the lowest prices available to those who register early. Register online or call 800-441-6832 to learn more.

6. Can I register on-site? If so, when?
Yes, you may register for the Green Truck Summit on-site at the Indiana Convention Center at either of the two conveniently located Registration Areas.

On-site registration hours are:
Monday, Feb. 29           noon–5 p.m.
Tuesday, March 1         7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 2    7 a.m.–5 p.m.
Thursday, March 3        7 a.m.–5 p.m.
Friday, March 4             8 a.m.–noon

7. I just registered. How do I know if it went through?
Whether you register through fax, mail, phone or web, you will receive a confirmation notice via email, fax or mail within one week, depending on the contact information you provided on the registration form. Your badge will be waiting for you on-site at the Registration Area. If you have any questions concerning your registration, please call 800-441-6832.

8. Can you recommend a place to stay?
NTEA has arranged for discounted room blocks at several nearby Indianapolis hotels. Make reservations online  or call 317-262-8191, Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. EST. Hotel confirmations are sent via email or fax within 24 hours.

9. Do I need a car? Is convenient parking available?
If you are flying into Indianapolis, a rental car is not necessary. The event and featured accommodations are conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Therefore, you will only require transportation to and from the airport.

If you are driving to Indianapolis, abundant downtown parking options are available.

If you are staying at a hotel in downtown Indianapolis during the Show, you may make arrangements to use the hotel’s parking lots for your vehicles. Parking rates and availability vary based on vehicle size and lot location.

Parking is also available at the Indianapolis Zoo, located near the Convention Center, at 1200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46222. Shuttle buses will loop between the Convention Center and Zoo parking lot.

Sunday, Feb. 28           8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 29          6 a.m.–5 p.m.
Tuesday, March 1        7 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 2   7 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 3       6 a.m.–6:30 p.m. 
Friday, March 4            8 a.m.–5 p.m.

For your convenience, NTEA is offering this parking and shuttle service free-of-charge.

10. Will there be shuttles to/from my hotel and the Indiana Convention Center?
All NTEA-designated hotels are within walking distance of the Convention Center, and many are connected to the Convention Center via skywalk. Shuttle buses and cars are not necessary to take you from these hotels to the Convention Center. View a hotel map.
