North America’s Largest Work Truck Event Returns to St. Louis March 9-12

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI (Feb. 11, 2010) — North America’s largest work truck event, The Work Truck Show® 2010, will celebrate its 10th anniversary by returning March 9-12, 2010 to St. Louis, the city that hosted the inaugural event.

The Work Truck Show has grown dramatically over the last 10 years. The event now includes 500,000 square feet of cutting-edge truck components, equipment and full-size vocational trucks, more than 40 industry-specific educational sessions, the two-day Green Truck Summit, Green Truck Ride-and-Drive, and keynote address from William Shatner.

The Work Truck Show 2010 is held in conjunction with the 46th Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) Convention, March 10-12, 2010 at America’s Center. The Convention, educational sessions and Green Truck Summit open March 9. Produced annually by the NTEA, The Work Truck Show brings together thousands of work truck professionals, including fleet managers, equipment buyers, maintenance personnel, manufacturers, distributors and dealers.

“We are very excited for this year’s show to be in St. Louis,” says Allen Birmingham, NTEA Convention chairman and national sales manager of Tommy Gate Co. (Phoenix, AZ). “Its central location makes it easy for fleets, equipment upfitters and others to attend this not-to-be-missed commercial truck event. St. Louis is a great place to hold our Show’s 10th anniversary event — the industry, the show and the city have all grown and achieved so much in the last several years. If you use trucks in your business, you should attend The Work Truck Show 2010!”

The NTEA’s original event occupied around 321,000 square feet in America’s Center, with booths from almost 400 exhibiting companies. The Work Truck Show 2010 exhibit floor fills both America’s Center and the Edward Jones Dome with Class 1-8 trucks, components and specialized equipment from more than 500 global suppliers. (Nineteen exhibitors are from the St. Louis area.)
