Green Truck Association promotes efficiency and productivity

This article was published in the March 2018 edition of NTEA News.

NTEA’s Green Truck Association (GTA) affiliate division was founded in 2010 in recognition of the growing interest and demand for green products in the work truck industry. It aims to enhance the efficiency and productivity of vocational trucks through development and deployment of strategies to reduce diesel and gasoline consumption. It provides members with publications, online resources and materials to help stay up-to-date on industry developments.

The Association monitors legislative and regulatory issues affecting the design, production and sale of clean vocational trucks and equipment. With established relationships in Washington, GTA provides updates on governmental activities, keeps members informed on policy developments and works to identify funding opportunities for advanced vehicle technologies and alternative fuel use in the commercial vehicle market.
