Survey Purpose
The NTEA OEM/Body Manufacturing Survey is designed to help manufacturers of truck chassis and bodies create and update their production plans. Both groups of manufacturers need information about each other's production levels and trends to gain a better understanding of how to operate as efficiently as possible in the truck and transportation equipment marketplace. View survey directions and chassis and body types reported.

Who Can Participate?
At the outset, this service is being offered to chassis and body manufacturers only that are members of the NTEA. It is possible that other manufacturer members will be offered the opportunity to participate in the future. This will primarily depend on demand for this service by the rest of NTEA membership.

How Do I Participate?
For those companies that manufacture chassis and/or bodies and are considering participation in this program, please call Steve Latin-Kasper, NTEA's Director of Market Data and Research, at (414) 294-3408 or e-mail stevelk@ntea.com. Steve will explain what participation involves and get you started on reporting data if you choose to participate.

What About the Rest of Us?
Those companies that manufacture other types of truck equipment, and are interested in this program should also contact Steve Latin-Kasper. He will be keeping track of the types of equipment produced by those companies that express an interest. If enough companies in a particular segment of the truck equipment market indicate an interest in participating, the NTEA will consider expanding the survey.
