Bob Miller serves as director of strategic opportunities for the NTEA. In this role, he visits member companies to educate them on the benefits of NTEA membership; to learn about business conditions and challenges; and to help identify opportunities within the industry. In addition, he promotes the annual Work Truck Show to supporting associations, truck dealers and other organizations. He also supports the development and implementation of NTEA educational programs. Miller joined the Association in 2007.

He brings nearly 40 years of truck equipment industry knowledge and experience to the Association, from both the manufacturing and distributor sides of the business. Prior to joining the NTEA, Miller started his truck equipment career in sales at the then Peabody Galion Corporation in Galion, OH. He then held leadership positions at Kaffenbarger Truck Equipment in New Carlisle, OH and was vice president of sales and marketing at Crysteel Manufacturing in Lake Crystal, MN, where he was directly involved in the development and introduction of numerous new products. He then served as vice president of business development at Truck Bodies & Equipment, Inc. before coming on board with the NTEA.

Miller holds an associate degree in business administration from Mansfield Business College (Mansfield, OH).
