Generation Next

Generation Next Logo_smallThe NTEA’s Young Executives Network (YEN) was established in 1996 to give young professionals support in developing skills and building peer relationships in the work truck industry. In February 2013, the NTEA announced the name change from Young Executives Network to Generation Next. Along with the redesigned logo, the name change better represents the group’s role in helping shape the next generation of work truck industry leaders. Generation Next is a progressive organization offering resources and support to young professionals aiming to further their industry careers and knowledge. 

Membership in Generation Next is FREE and available to employees of NTEA member companies who are age 18–34, whether in management, sales, engineering, operations, or any other function.

Become a Generation Next Leader

Take an active role in Generation Next's steering committee. The steering committee helps guide the development of programs and services. Committee members are periodically invited to join NTEA Board of Trustees activities. The Generation Next Steering Committee chair is invited each year to attend the NTEA Summer Strategic Board of Trustees Meeting. Several Generation Next members have been elected by the NTEA membership at-large to serve on the Board of Trustees.
