YELLOW FINAL-STAGE LABELS
Can be used by final-stage manufacturers of vehicles completed from chassis-cabs, cutaways or other incomplete vehicles if certain conditions are satisfied.
GRAY ALTERED LABELS
For use by manufacturers that alter a vehicle certified in the final stage prior to first retail sale.
WHITE FINAL-STAGE LABELS
Used by final-stage manufacturers of vehicles that cannot be completed and certified within guidance and limitations in the incomplete vehicle document.
For use by companies that alter or complete in the final-stage a vehicle rated 10,000 pounds GVWR and under.
LABEL PRINTING PROGRAM
Laser print six different certification labels (yellow final-stage, white final-stage, orange specialized, gray altered, green intermediate-stage and blue trailer) with one standard-size label stock.
GREEN INTERMEDIATE-STAGE LABELS
Used by manufacturers (other than incomplete or final-stage) performing manufacturing operations on an incomplete vehicle before completion by the final-stage manufacturer.
