I want to print vehicle certification labels in bulk. Is that an option via WorkTruckCert?
Yes, bulk printing requires a thermal transfer printer with resolution of 203 dots per inch that can handle a 4-inch web width and a maximum outside diameter of the 8-inch roll. Certain industrial printers meet these specifications (such as the ZT200 series, ZT400 series, ZT510, and ZT600 series). All recommended printers require a thermal transfer ribbon; desktop direct thermal transfer is not compatible.

Using a thermal transfer printer requires installation of the Zebra Browser Print application. The following operating systems, browsers and printers are supported.

Operating systems         Windows 7, Windows 10, mac OS X 10.10+
Browsers                         Chrome 51+
Printers                            ZT200 series, ZT400 series, ZT510, ZT600 series

Access the Zebra Browser Print application download and a user guide with instructions here (follow the installation and configuration instructions for your operating system and refresh WorkTruckCert).

Do I need a special printer to use WorkTruckCert?
You can continue to use a standard laser printer with WorkTruckCert. Bulk printing requires a thermal transfer printer.

Are you required to enter all information in the body and equipment installed section?
Asterisks indicate required fields. In the body and equipment installed section, fuel type is required, but the other fields represent optional inputs.

Is it possible to certify a trailer using WorkTruckCert?
The certification label for a trailer can be generated and printed from WorkTruckCert. However, the program does not have a function to generate the vehicle identification number (VIN) required by trailer manufacturers. Also, trailers with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds or less and recreational vehicle trailers require additional labeling not included in WorkTruckCert.

What is the maximum number of axles that can be added to a given truck?
A total of five axles can be displayed on a vehicle certification label using WorkTruckCert. If your vehicle has more than five axles, please contact the WorkTruckCert team at
support@worktruckcert.com or 800-441-6832.

Is there a place to enter your internal company work order number?

Yes, you can access a downloadable checklist by logging in to your WorkTruckCert account and selecting the CONFIGURE button on the homepage
