Steve Carey
President/CEO
Since 1998, Steve Carey has held a series of leadership roles at the NTEA, including senior director of operations and deputy executive director, prior to taking on the role of executive director in 2012. Steve’s awareness and analysis of changes in the work truck industry over the last 15 years provide him a unique perspective on shifts in competition, industry dynamics and customer expectations. Michael Kastner

Managing Director
Mike Kastner is a government relations expert with more than 25 years of political involvement on Capitol Hill. As the industry’s key liaison in Washington, DC, he monitors all relevant regulations and safety standards, protecting and advancing the interests of the work truck industry. Full bio





Doyle Sumrall

Managing Director
Doyle Sumrall’s insights come from more than 30 years of engineering and business management experience. Prior to his current management role at the NTEA, he held several executive positions, including vice president of manufacturing for Stahl/Scott Fetzer Company. Full bio





Susan Dehne

Senior Director of Technical Services
Susan Dehne brings approximately 30 years of OEM engineering and management experience to NTEA. Since November 2015, she leads the Technical Services Department as the Association continues to expand those offerings on behalf of its membership and the industry as a whole. Full bio




Steve Latin-Kasper

Director of Market Data and Research
Steve Latin-Kasper started his career as a statistician with the Department of Commerce. Since 1999, he has focused his efforts on research and analysis of market data and economic indicators for the work truck industry. Full bio





Chris Lyon

Chris Lyon started his career with the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, where he was ultimately responsible for all vehicle and equippmetn purchasing for the district's diverse fleet. He promoted the alternative fuelmovement through active involvement with the Chicago Area Clean Cities and the Illinois Partners for Clean Air. Full bio





Bob Miller

Director of Outreach
Bob Miller's rich industry insights and perspectives were earned through 40 years of experience in the truck equipment business - from both the manufacturing and distributor sides. His unusual trajectory makes him well-equipped to understand and anticipate the needs of members. Full bio




Bob Raybuck

Director of Technical Services
With 25 years of engineering experience focused on commercial vehicles, Bob Raybuck is an expert on the technical issues and challenges facing manufacturers and distributors. In his role, he keeps abreast of all government safety standards and proposed rules, including Federal Excise Tax. Full bio
