Michael Kastner Biography

Mike Kastner is a government relations expert with more than 30 years of political involvement on Capitol Hill. As the industry’s key liaison in Washington, DC, and Ottawa, he monitors relevant regulations and safety standards, protecting and advancing the interests of the work truck industry. Mike leads all legislative and regulatory lobbying efforts across the United States and Canada and reports key developments back to the industry.
Mike was appointed by the U.S. Trade Representative and Secretary of Commerce to the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Automotive Equipment and Capital Goods. He also served as Chairman of the ASAE Public Policy Committee and has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Michigan State University (East Lansing, Michigan).
