TCI Mobility, LLC (Sciota, Pennsylvania) is currently in the process of issuing its Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal of 8.32 percent for the Federal Fiscal Year 2019 in accordance with federal United States Department of Transportation regulations 49 C.F.R. Parts 26.45, 26.49, and others, as they apply to qualified DBEs on DOT FTA-assisted contracts.
This proposed minimum goal and its methodology are available for up to thirty (30) days during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, at the Sciota, Pennsylvania, location.
The company is actively seeking DBE and Small Business participation for the manufacturing of products: non-emergency mobility and medical transport vehicles, including school shuttles. Furthermore, they are pursuing information, concerns and ideas from minority and women owned organizations, community organizations, and business groups in regards to the availability of disadvantaged businesses for the manufacturing of component parts used in the up-fit of these specific transit vehicles.
Comments are welcomed in regards to our goal and methodology, as well as, the effects of discrimination on opportunities or barriers for DBEs as related to the establishment of market participation equality for all business type firms, for up to forty-five (45) days following the publication date of this notice.
TCI Mobility would greatly appreciate and readily encourages your input and feedback on this matter in order to better achieve our overall goal and improve their Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program.
All comments and concerns, capabilities and qualifications may be forwarded to their DBE Liaison Officer via email at email@example.com
