Masterack defines executive direction with strategic new hires


Masterack (Decatur, Georgia) 
announced the addition of three key leadership roles. The vice president of engineering, director of fleet sales, and the director of marketing and product development will all report directly to Ken Kozicki, president of Masterack, and will drive the vision of the organization to achieve a new strategic plan. “The individuals we’ve chosen to fill these roles bring strong manufacturing backgrounds and proven growth within global markets,” adds Kozicki.

Wayne Steele joins the Masterack team as Vice President of Engineering. Steele will be leading the engineering and R&D team’s transformation of new product offerings and engineering excellence. Most recently, Steele was the Director of Product Management and R&D at Hisense USA, a manufacturer of home appliances.  He was responsible for the strategic direction of home appliance products and the owner of the product and technical roadmaps.  Before his tenure at Hisense USA, Wayne worked at Haier America as the General Manager of R&D and Engineering for Residential Appliances. Wayne has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and an Executive MBA from Emory University. Steele is also a PMP (Project Management Professional) and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Matt Reilly, Director of Fleet Sales, joins Masterack from FCA Fiat Chrysler Automotive and will be focused on building and retaining a top-performing sales team dedicated to customer excellence. “With more than 20 years of record success within highly competitive automotive markets, Reilly’s automotive industry knowledge and mentorship abilities will help grow successful business relationships within our key markets,” said Merry Beth Stephens, Director of Human Resources. “His strength in leadership will be vital to Masterack’s growth potential.”

Jill Gorzynski, Masterack’s Director of Marketing and Product Management, comes from a strong marketing background and education including five years with Liquid Controls, a subsidiary of global manufacturing giant, IDEX and more than three years leading product management and marketing initiatives at American Valve. She will complete her MBA from the University of Georgia in the spring of 2020. “Reviewing current product-line performance and establishing strong launches for new products will be crucial for Masterack’s success,” said Ken Kozicki, President of Masterack. “We are excited to have Jill’s expertise and proven business strategy as we begin to grow this organization.”
