ECO Vehicle Systems (Union City, Indiana) announced a new ship-thru program for General Motors Wentzville, Missouri, and Springfield, Ohio, plants.
These ship-thru programs allow fleets to order Chevrolet Express 4500 and GMC Savanah 4500 cut away chassis as well as Chevrolet Express and GMC Savanah 1500, 2500 and 3500 vans and have them shipped directly from the manufacturing plant to ECO Vehicle Systems in Union City, Indiana, for upfitting, body installation and other modifications, including interior packages, ladder racks and alternative fuel systems installation (CNG or LPG).
Once the upfitting, body installations for other modifications are complete, the vehicles are returned to the General Motors transportation system and quickly shipped to the dealer or fleet location specified with only a minimal handling changed from GM. This enables the upfitting and modification process to happen with minimum time and transportation delays and at lower costs.
The ECO Vehicle Systems ship-thru code for the Wentzville, Missouri, GM Plant is “A6H” and the ECO Vehicle Systems ship-thru code for the Springfield, Ohio, plant is “TBK”.
